Plastic has been one of the keystones of the modern economy in the mid-20th century. Being established in this active process, Simsek Plastic Cosmetics Industry and Trade Ltd. became active in Konya in 1959. Following-up the technology closely, Simsek Plastic started to produce plastic bottles in 1970, plastic bowls in 1998 and pet bottle production in 2000.
